Welcome to Y Knot Yarnery! I’m Tifney, the owner, designer, and maker behind every crocheted creation you see here.
My love for crochet began when I was a little girl, learning the craft from two very special women in my life—my mother and grandmother. What started as a childhood hobby became something I continued to enjoy throughout the years. There has always been something special about taking a simple skein of yarn and turning it into something beautiful with my own two hands.
In 2022, I decided to turn that lifelong love of crochet into a business, and Y Knot Yarnery was born.
I began by creating cozy, handmade blankets, but my creativity quickly led me in new directions. I discovered a love for designing stylish crocheted handbags, combining traditional crochet with modern, fashionable designs. From there, my collection continued to grow, and I found another favorite—creating adorable crocheted plushies that are full of personality and made to bring smiles to both children and adults.
Today, every Y Knot Yarnery piece is handcrafted by me from start to finish. As the sole owner and designer, I personally select the materials, choose the colors, create the designs, and crochet each item with care and attention to detail. No mass production—just thoughtfully handmade pieces created one stitch at a time.
I live in Alabama with my family, where I continue the crochet tradition that my mother and grandmother shared with me so many years ago. It means so much to me that something they taught me as a little girl has grown into a business that allows me to share my creativity with others.
